We are the Southern Utah adventure experts. We pride ourselves on having the most experienced and accomplished guides in Southern Utah. Zion is our home. Our enthusiasm comes from the fact that we have all chosen to live in a virtual playground of outdoor activities that have the power to stimulate and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul. Zion Rock and Mountain Guides is owned and operated by people who really view themselves as paid outdoor professionals. We understand the value of guided experiences and instructional courses and pride ourselves on offering the best with regards to knowledge, experience, safety, ability to teach and having fun.

Narrows Outfitting
Stop in and rent some canyoneering shoes and hike the famous Zion Virgin River Narrows. We rent the gear you need to get out and explore this wondrous place. We also rent an assortment of gear for climbing, canyoneering and backpacking.

Hiker Shuttle Service
We offer a hikers shuttle service to most trailheads in Zion National Park.
Daily Shuttle to Chamberlains Ranch for the Narrows.
Times 6:00 and 9:00 am

Day of Rock Climbing
The climbing in Southern Utah is phenomenal. It is a world class place for sure. More than that, it has climbing that can suit virtually every skill level. You need absolutely zero experience to come out for a day with us. We'll teach you the basics of body movement in the vertical realm and explain how the gear we use works to keep us safe. If you've always wanted to try it, sign up and we'll take you out for a day and get you up a pitch or two.

Day of Canyoneering
A day of guided canyoneering is filled with fun and excitement as you enter a world of adventure. Not only do you get the opportunity to rappel up to 150ft, climb over and under boulders and logs, you get to do all of this in some of the most spectacular scenery found anywhere. Very few people visit these places. The experience you have with your friends and family and the photos and video you take will provide you with memories not soon forgotten.

Instruction Courses
In order to help you gain the skills needed to travel safely in the backcountry we have developed courses that are designed as progressional education units. Each course builds on the elements learned in the preceding course. Much of our curriculum has been developed from practical experience we have gained over many years.
